Sophieis a sweet lady who came to us with some medical issues. She was very thin, but is gaining weight nicely and getting much more energy as her nutrition improves. She also has some bare spots in her coat, from "hot spots", allergies, and nutritional deficits. Also, sadly enough, Sophie tested positive for heartworm. She has a couple months ahead of her getting in shape for treatment, going through the injections, then going through a period of inactivity for recovery. Once all that's behind her, sometime in July, Sophie will hopefully be as good as new and ready for a forever home! She's small, sweet, and seriously ready for some TLC. A little one this cute deserves better than she's had to deal with in the past.
