Scrappy is a cute young man who is still working on social skills. He's got a good heart and wants to be a good boy, but he came from the shelter a bit hig-strung and he over-reacted whenever anyone reached toward him quickly. No biting or anything, just some defensive behavior that isn't what we really want in a perfectly socialized boy. Scrappy's fosters are working with him and they've said he has made tremendous progress already. It appears he just needed to figure out that he can trust people. Scrappy would do best with an experienced owner and definitely no small children. Ideally, a home where there aren't a lot of new people coming and going would be the easiest for him to transition into. He is a good boy at heart and we are confident that in the right home where he is set up for success he will continue to grow comfortable being the loving boy he's meant to be!
