Maverick is a very sweet gentleman with excellent manners! He's a curious boy who enjoys exploring his environment, so he definitely needs a secure environment, but Maverick is always willing to take time out for cuddle breaks! He is a quiet guy, not a lot of barking, and he gets along with other dogs his size, although he's not all that interested in playing with them. Maverick has been quick to pick up house training at his foster home, and he leash walks well. Maverick is incredibly cute, and for a dog in the 8 - 10 year old range he is in extraordinary good health. He did have to get most of his teeth extracted because he came to us with some seriouis dental neglect, but now that it's been taken care of Maverick's adopters can take comfort in knowing the expensive work is done and they'll never have to worry about dental expenses. Maverick's foster family feels like he's just the cutest, nicest little guy theyv'e enjoyed fostering in quite some time! If you appreciate a healthy "young" senior who is the perfect pet, Maverick may be the one for you!
