Ophelia came to rescue when her owners’ work schedules didn’t allow them to give her the time that she needed. She is 1.5 years old and has a beautiful dapple coat. She has good energy, but also loves to sit in your lap. She is crate and house trained and uses the doggy door. She can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but warms up quickly and loves to give kisses. Ophelia is good with gentle children aged 6 and up. She loves toys and enjoys someone playing with her. She is good with other dogs and gets along well with the dogs in her foster home. We aren’t sure at this time if Ophelia has experience with cats. Ophelia is not destructive and she stays gated in the master bathroom when her foster parents are away from home. She is content to sleep in her crate at night and will visit her crate during the day to rest. Ophelia would love to have a family that isn’t away from home for long periods of time, and someone to give her lots of lap time & love.
