Buddy must be adopted with his companion, Krissy (adopted).

Buddy came to us with Krissy. The pair were abandoned when their former owners left Texas suddenly with the dogs in their now-former home and a note to some friends of theirs that the dogs are there and will need a home... Thankfully, the friends got them out of the home and into rescue. The pictures aren't great because they were taken with a phone at the old home and Buddy wouldn't hold still, but you can see the pair are very Dachshund and very cute! Buddy is a typical male Dachshund in his prime- he's happy go-lucky, appears excitable but friendly, has done well around other dogs and kids so far (in is limited time with us), and when he isn't hopping around and blurring the phot, he's a cute short-legged guy! We don't know yet whether the pair is bonded but so far it seems as though they're happy independently of each other. Better photos and more information coming...
