Cream Toby is an absolutely beautiful long haired boy. We are giong to be very picky about his placement, because he is a good boy but has some definite environmental needs. Toby is a vocal boy and shares his opinions, so a single-family dwelling is a must. Also, he needs a secure yard and no chain-link or wrought-iron fencing. He's clever enough to climb or squeeze into small spaces, and cute enough to be a temptation for someone to snatch if they have easy access to him. Toby does well once introduced to people, but can be finicky with new folks, so he will do best at a home where there aren't a lot of new people constantly coming and going. As with many Dachshunds, Toby is okay with some young humans but has no time or patience for others. Once he knows you and decides you're a good person (which doesn't take long!), Toby is a real love- he will follow you all over and want to cuddle and give doggie kisses!
