Buster came to us as a former breeder dog. He's a double-dapple, and while it gave him a beautiful looking coat it also gave him one under-developed eye, a common side effect of that genetic combination. Buster has great vision in his other eye and appears to have no other sensory problems at all. He did have an arrhythmia reaction to his anasthetic when neutered, but he recovered from the procedure with no problems.

Buster is great around other dogs, and sweet once he gets over being initially timid around new people. He is learning how to be a pet very rapidly. Buster already loves cuddles with his foster family, wags and follows them, and likes to be picked up and held. He is also adapting very happily to indoor life! The house training improves daily now that he's been neutered, and Buster seems very ready to start a new life as a loving family member!

Given his one-sided sight impairment and his previous history as other than a family pet, Buster would do best without young children. He also needs a secure yard since he prefers exploring more than leash walking. He does, however, do well with a leash already- this is a smart boy who will be wonderful for the right adopter!
