Buster is a cute little chocolate boy who came to us from a hoarder situation. He's a good boy but very shy. Buster is working hard at adapting but he's had no social experience prior to his rescue, so he is still learning that it's okay to trust people, and while he is not bothered by other dogs being around he doesn't seem to really interact much with them. Buster's foster says he is adjusting rapidly given his prior lifestyle and she has a lot of confidence that he will be a wonderful pet for the right person. Someone with experience, time, and a patient but consistent approach to working with Buster would do best. He knows and appreciates being loved, and he responds well to positive reinforcement. Buster also has to have a secure yard, because he's so shy and we don't want him getting frightened in an environment where he could get out or be unsafe. He's young, cute, and full of love- Buster should have many years ahead of him to share his love with someone!
