Description:

Frodo is a double-dapple senior with a thick, beautiful white and black/gray soft wire coat and deep blue eyes. Frodo is one sweet gentleman and gets along well with most other dogs. Frodo, like many double-dapples, was born with hearing impairment, although his vision is fine and he appears to have no other health concerns. Frodo just had a thorough dental, is current on all vaccinations, is heart worm negative and on preventative, and is microchipped. Frodo's previous  owner experienced age and health related problems that made it impossible to care for him.  In the recent past Frodo had a lot of outdoor time but he has quickly adjusted to the indoor life. He appreciates a comfy dog bed, has already demonstrated house training, and is rapidly becoming a cuddle puppy even though he didn't have a lot of previous interaction with people. Due to his hearing impairment a secure yard is a must, and adopters experienced with deaf dogs are a big plus. Adults and/or older children would be the best match for a boy with Frodo's background and sensory limitations. Frodo is a great dog and we just want to be sure he goes where he will be comfortable, appreciated, and enjoy the wonderful life he's meant to have in a forever home!
