Lady (Brownie's mother) and Brownie came to us together when their owner was no longer able to care for them. The two have been together for years and need to be adopted together. Both tested heartworm positive when we go them, and are currently using the "slow kill" method for treatment. They are otherwise healthy, fully vaccinated and microchipped, have had all their dental work down, and are definitely ready for adoption. These are sweet girls whose foster mom recommends them highly. They have good house manners, love life and people, and get along with most other dogs. They will need a secure yard, an indoor lifestyle, and preferably someone experienced with the breed. They came from a rural background and currently live where there is a large yard, so they would not adapt well to apartment living and having to do all their business on leash. Lady and Brownie are wonderful pets and will be thrilled to get a wonderful home!
