Bella Sue is a Standard Dachshund mix, possibly a retriever. She has many personality traits of a Dachshund but her ears and facial shape look somewhat like a lab or golden may have been in the family some time in the past...  Bella is best with small dogs and does better with adults but not children. She came to our rescue after her owner could no longer care for her and the family who took her in discovered she liked the chickens on their farm a little too much! That said, she can be shy briefly with new people but warms up quickly. Once that happens she is a loyal, loving pet. Bella Sue uses a doggie door at her foster home, but also leash walks well. She is just entering her senior years so she is not a high energy dog, but she is a good pet and has no known health problems. She's fully vetted, had her teeth cleaned, and enjoys cuddle time with her humans. Bella has some basic training and adapts well. For the right home she will be a perfect pet- loving, loyal, happy, and not a lot of maintenance required!
