Dexter came to us at the request of his groomer when his owner could no longer care for him. He is a fussy little guy and unfortunately has a severely narrowed trachea. That and his allergies make it difficult for him to breathe, and he also has congestive heart failure. His medication makes him comfortable most of the time, and he generally likes to nap, eat, and fuss if he doesn't want to be touched much. Despite that, he's a quirky little dog with a lot of personality. He has his moments, and it's a fun to see him get animated and really. engage with his people and environment. Dexter's time is limited, so our plan is to continue to make it as good for him as possible!
