Special Needs: Pepper needs regular vet checkups and blood work to monitor liver and other organ function, as well as oral medication as prescribed.

Pepper is a sweet senior who has some age-related concerns. She is prone to gastroenteritis and  is also prone to liver function inconsistency. With regular blood work and vet checkups as well as oral medication these are manageable conditions.Pepper was doing well enough to go through a dental recently and her mouth is in good shape at this time. Pepper is a good girl who loves her humans as well as her bonded Dachshund best friend Bruno.  Due to her age and health Pepper is considered a sanctuary dog. She is happy and comfortable in her current foster home and we wouldn't dream of moving her at this point in her life.
