Maxwell is a beautiful young dog who loves people, prefers sleeping in beds rather than crates, and loves to play. Maxwell was a bit timid when he first came to us, but rapidly got over it. Now that he is comfortable with his foster family (which took almost no time at all), he wants to curl up and nap with them, give doggie kisses, and just enjoy being near. Maxwell was a bit confused and upset by the shelter experience, so he's still in need of some reassurance that he won't be "dumped" again, but his confidence grows very quickly. Maxwell is smart and learns fast- he's the kind of dog who truly wants to please his people and enjoys praise!
