Mario is a sweet, wonderfully house trained young man. He is a long little mini, and he is just wonderful with both children and cats, as well as with other dogs. If you look closely, you'll notice that Mario has one less leg than most doxies- his rear leg had been injured long ago and had to be amputated. However, this doesn't slow Mario down at all :) He is comfortable, quite mobile, and happier now that he's pain-free than he was when he had the leg. Through all this, even when he was being examined with a broken and improperly healed leg, Mario never lost his great attitude. He just keeps on smiling, wagging, and being a good dog to all the people he meets. Mario is just a bundle of loving, no matter how you look at him :) Apply online at www.dachshundloversoftexas.org.
