Loki is a beautiful Great Dane who was rescued by his foster when the Dane rescue groups were full. He was underweight at the time, but now is just about perfect at about 150 pounds. Loki, like most Danes, is a gentle and loyal dog who loves his time as a "couch potato" just as much as his time being walked. Loki is not thrilled with the idea of sharing a foster home with all the Dachshunds, because they're always trying to bark at him and annoy him. They don't understand he's a lover, not a fighter, and he's a bit scared by the whole thing, so he really needs a forever home without that kind of excitement. Preference will be given to experienced Great Dane owners; they are wonderful pets, but really are a unique breed and they need a lot of TLC, as well as some specific knowledge about proper care.
