Schatzi is a wonderful boy! He is well-mannered, loving, and has a classic Dachshund build. Schatzi has spent his whole life with one family until a death in the family and serious illness with his surviving owner caused him to need a new home. He is adjusting well. Schatzi has never been around children or a lot of excitement, so he would probably do best in a calm environment. His foster family finds him to be an absolute pleasure; he is so well-behaved and has such a good nature that it's hard to believe he has only been with them a short time.
