Ruby is sweet, petite, and has a very calm personality. She plays well with other Dachshunds but is basically a cuddle puppy who likes to be around people. Ruby came into rescue because her previous owner didn't keep her on heartworm preventative, and when she tested positive, he just dumped her. It's hard to believe such a beautiful, nice girl like this could be just tossed away through no fault of her own! We've had her heartworm treated and she's doing great now.
