Luke is the kind of dog who melts into you when you hold him.  He loves to be held and loved on & makes a soft little moaning sound when you pet him.  He was in a Dallas area shelter for 10 days, picked up as a stray and no one claimed him.  He was over the moon excited when we walked him out of the shelter, his tail wagging and his face beaming with happiness!  Luke is a young boy and we think he'd really enjoy having some older kids to run & play with (or some active parents who could keep him busy!), along with at least one doggie sibling.  NO CATS though... he took a very strong interest in the "clinic cat" (and not in a good way!) when we walked into our vet's office!  We'll get better photos and we'll know more about his personality once he's in a foster home, but what we see now is a happy, loving boy with the sweetest personality.  He's a big boy too... he weighs about 18 lbs and could stand to gain a pound to fill out his long, lean body.
