Cornbread was rescued from a north Texas shelter after being picked up as a stray.  She was suffering from extensive hair loss, her skin raw and inflamed, and in terrible shape.  She has the sweetest, most loving personality though and despite her discomfort she still wants to give kisses!

Update: July 26, 2012 - Cornbread is looking and feeling so much better!  Her coat has come back nicely and she's blossomed into a very pretty girl.  She's a little shy with new people, but it doesn't take her long to warm up to them.  Once she's comfortable she gives tiny kisses and loves to snuggle.  She's having a blast in her foster home, playing with the other dogs and keeping the yard safe from squirrels.  She's discovered sleeping in the big bed is quite nice too...
