Miley is a beautiful double-dapple girl who was born deaf. She has also had a rough time from a several month stay with a person who was not nice to her before she came to rescue. Beacuse of that Miley is not immediately trusting. Once she gets over her initial contact and realizes she can trust someone she becomes a sweet, loyal pet, but it takes an experienced person to patiently take Miley through that initial process. Miley will probably get better with time, but for now we have to advise caution about taking her into situations with new people. Miley is young and has a good heart. She was once a happy, sweet puppy before she had a bad several months. We'd like to think she can become that happy, trusting girl again given time, patience, and a loving environment shere she can build trust in people again. MIley's foster has taught her sign language, so deafness is not a major problem for her. She just needs to figure out that one bad person doesn't mean all people are mean.
