COMING SOON: Spencer is a sweet, cute little guy who was in serious medical jeopardy when we first rescued him. Spencer had a digestive problem that had taken him to the point of severe malnutrition and dehydration. Through some emergency intervention, a long period of TLC, good non-allergic food, and many re-cehecks, Spencer was able to gain weight and get over his immediate problems. Spencer also has vaccine reactions. He is current, but vaccinations have to be administered with antihistimines and all-day monitoring. Spencer also has to be careful about what food he eats to prevent any further digestive problems. Spencer is healthy at this time, although whenever we have a little guy with so many early developmental and allergic problems there is always the possibility there will be further challenges throughout his life. Spencer's adopter will need to be someone who has the resources and willingness to make that commitment to him for his lifetime. Spencer is incredibly lovable, and everyone who meets him immediately falls for him. It's not just that he is cute (he is!), it's also his attitude. Spencer just loves life and that happy feeling spreads to whoever is with him. It took a long time and a lot of loving care to get Spencer to where he is now. Undertandably, we are going to be very picky about who becomes Spencer's forever family :-)
