Jaxson is a gorgeous little guy who weighs just 7 lbs.  He's seen an eye specialist in Dallas and he is blind in his right eye, but has great vision in the left (blue) eye.  He's fully vetted, house trained,  and he gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home.  He plays alone with toys, uses the doggie door, comes when called and is just a total love!  His foster mom says he "stands like a show dog and is all dachshund!" In Jax's foster home, there is a 14 year old standard female with limited sight. Jax has become her "seeing eye" dog! He goes outside with her and shows her the way back to the door.  Jax gently bumps her to let her know he's there and he's always on his "blue" eye side. The best thing is that the first time he gently bumped her, she turned quickly and nipped his ear. The next day she was letting him share her bed. Forgiveness. Just amazing!    Cute, cute, cute!!!!"
