George is one of the seven puppies rescued on Thanksgiving after having been dumped in a field near Oak Lawn. At such a young age these pups will still need all three sets of shots with a waiting period in between to develop immunity. They will also need to grow larger and stronger to be ready for pediatric spay/neuter. We are anticipating that they will be fully vetted and ready for adoption sometime in early - mid January. These are cute little babies who are thriving despite their rough start. As with all babies, when it's time for adoption they will need a home with someone who has time to work with them, train them, and keep up with their puppy lifestyle. Experienced puppy owners and a tolerant current pet to be a good playmate will be very helpful in providing the right home.
