Nolan is an active Dachshund, well-proportioned and people-friendly. Nolan came to us from the Dallas shelter after he had arrived as a stray with bite wounds that appeared to be from a larger dog. He has long since healed well, and his fur is growing so nicely you can't even tell he'd been injured. Nolan also had a dental, so he has nice clean teeth and sweet breath :-)  Nolan tested heartworm positive, which we are treating, and that will complete his full vetting. It's a light case and there should be no problems at all with the treatment. Meanwhile, Nolan is looking for a great forever home. He is okay with most Dachshunds, although he prefers being alpha around males, and he also prefers adults to children. Nolan is a smart dog- he learns fast and likes to please his people. This is a gorgeous young man, a classic Dachshund complete with Dachshund personality and attitude, and he is a wonderful pet. Enjoy the boy; know him - love him - adopt him!
