Madison is a sweet seven year old with a lot of love to share, but she is a work in progress. Madison spent years being crated long hours in a very small kennel by her original owner. Because of that, she is very crate-shy and strongly resists being kenneled.

Once rescued, Madison was placed with someone who she was just getting comfortable with, then her adopter had a heart attack and had to give her up.  Now that Madison is in a good foster home, she is learning to appreciate the freedom to explore her home, but still has occasional anxious moments. Madison's foster is working with her and she is making rapid progress, but Madison will need an experienced, patient adopter who knows how to work with her. She is a good girl and well worth the effort.
