WHen Barney came to DLT he was incredibly skinny! He obviously hadn't been getting enough to eat, but in spite of that he was a very loving guy who spent a lot of time wagging. Since then, thanks to good vetting and some fantastic TLC from his foster, Barney has gained weight. He's almost back to normal, and he looks and feels like a new boy. barney's blood work is good, and miraculously he was heartworm negative when we got him and is still that way (he's on preventative). Barney's vaccinations are all current, his dental health has been taken care of, and he's a goodboy who is ready for a great furever home. Barney has some mild separation issues, probably due to having dome some stray time in the past, so he will do best with someone who is home a lot. Another dog to cuddle with would also be nice, and he will need an easily-digested food to continue with his weight gain. Barney is playful and mischievious, so he needs a secure back yard and good uspervision to prevent any furtner adventures away from home. Barney prefers adult humans to small children; no aggression, he's just fussy about who he makes firends with. He's cute, he's loving, he's fun, and he's a great pet, so Barney just needs the right home where he can be secure, loved, and appreciated!
