Lenny is a very busy boy who just loves people! Like many wire-coat Dachshunds, Lenny is vocal and energetic, but he makes plenty of time to cuddle with his foster people and just loves to sleep next to them. Lenny is a good boy and is doing very well at learning the house training routine at his foster home. He definitely needs a secure yard and no apartments, because he has a tendency to want to explore and to make sure everyone around knows he's there. Isabella (that unique blue/tan color) is an unusual variation in a Dachshund, and generally, as is true with Lenny, it produces a tendency to have a thinner, finer coat. Isabella Dachshunds are also prone to food and skin allergies. So far we've seen none of that with Lenny, but he is on a grain-free limited ingredient diet just to be sure. Lenny is a happy, healthy young boy. He is selective about playing with the other Dachshunds at his foster home- no major conflicts, but he thinks he's the boss so he does require some supervision interacting with them. Again, no problems, just a typical young guy that knows he's cute and has no shortage of self-confidence. Lenny is a good youngster who will grow up to become a great dog with the right forever home!
