UPDATE: Dazi Mae & Lola recassified as Available for Sponsorship and not for adoption

Some health changes have made things more complicated- Dazi has become almost completely incontinent (not unusual in a dog who has had bladder stone surgery as they age), and her littermate Lola seems to feel that means it's okay for her to just do her thing wherever and whenever also. This  makes it more difficult to care for them and they are fortunate enough to currently be in a foster home where someone is there almost 24/7 to keep things cleaned up and work with them.

Also, they are very high maintenance. Due to the existing condition with Dazi there is a need for frequent vet visits for the chronic urinary tract infections that sadly also tend to go with an aging female who has had her problems. Her food is also much more expensive than it use to be. Lola can eat regular food but is a bit arthritic and sometimes needs to go in for medication for that. 

Given their condition, we don't want to send them to a new situation which would add more stress to their lives, if it's likely to end up in their coming back when things don't work out, or worse yet not getting the level of care we feel they need for their quality of life to be good. Despite all their personal medical issues they are basically happy where they are so that's important to us.  ❤️
