Nugget was very weak and unsure when he came to us, but he's gaining strength and self-confidence. His foster mom feels he still needs a bit more time before he'll be fully ready to transition into a forever home, but given the right owner Nugget should thrive and enjoy sharing a lot of love for what is hopefully a long time to come. He's beautiful, but due to his age and background it's important for Nugget to go to a home with an experienced owner who has time to work with him and patiently reassure him that life and people are good!
