Puffin (aka Puff-Puff) is a cute young Chiweenie (Dachshund - Chihuahua mix). Puff-Puff is a quiet boy, somewhat shy at first, but he loves being held and cuddled once he knows you. He is very well-mannered and easy to get along with. Puff-Puff was a stray who was temporarily forced to do some street time until a good Samaritan took him in and helped him. Puffin had heartworm, was hungry, had a thin coat from flea bites, and in spite of all that he trusted people. Today you would never know Puff-Puff is the same dog. His fleas are long gone, his heartworm has been treated, he is healthy, his coat is shiny, and he is just the right weight, Most important, Puff-Puff is very appreciative of the TLC! Puffin needs to know that he will be an inside pet who is treated with love for the rest of his life. This little boy is so cute and so user-friendly he deserves the best. At only about a year old, Puffin will easily adapt to a forever family and a comfy life as a great pet!
