Other Pictures of Noah (click to see larger version):Noah is a very special little guy we rescued from a N Texas shelter. He was found alongside a busy highway, near death & so weak he could barely stand. The person who found him took him to the shelter where the awesome employees got him to the vet so he could get some basic care & be evaluated. One of our volunteers happened to come by to rescue another little dog in dire need (Cornbread) and when she saw pics of Noah she made arrangements to rescue him as well. Noah spent his first few days after rescue receiving fluids and medication while our vet's staff monitored him closely. We weren't sure he'd survive in the beginning, he was so emaciated and weak, but after several days he slowly began to improve. Each day he was a little stronger & before long he was a bouncy, happy puppy, gaining weight and giving lots & lots of kisses! Noah jumps into your arms and bombards you with kisses & just exudes so much happiness it's hard to believe he was so near death just weeks ago. He's still gaining much needed weight, but is ready to begin the process of finding just the right forever home, one where he'll never be abandoned or neglected again. He'd love another small dog to play with and a family who will shower him with lots & lots of love and attention! Update! Noah is doing fantastic in his foster home, enjoying running & playing with his two foster doggie siblings AND two human foster brothers! He's still a puppy so Noah has lots & lots of playful energy & curiostiy - he plays all day and has boundless amounts of energy! After seeing how well he's doing with 2 other dogs to play with and show him the ropes we'd like to see him go to a home with doggie playmates and maybe some older children who know how to play safely with small dogs!
