Chanel is a full figured gal that loves to take walks around the neighborhood or a drive up to the store to pickup a new toy. She has never met a stranger yet, she is happy to share her joy for life with everyone. She doesn't like people to think just because she is older and bigger that she can't be fun like those younger skinny doggies. She loves to play chase with other dogs and sometimes the cats who just don't understand she is just playing. Chanel likes to roll on her back for belly rubbings or when she is wrestling with her toys. She isn't a big fan of being left in a crate, she has separation anxiety after her owner abandoned her at the Garland shelter after all these years of companionship. She doesn't mind sleeping in a bed on the floor as long as she has a blanket to get under. Chanel is smart enough to use a doggie door and now that she has lost weight she can fit through it easily. Chanel's idols are Marilyn Monroe and Lucille Ball cause they incorporated beauty, brains and humor to bring happiness to the world and Chanel wants to do the same for her new family.
