Winnie is as sweet as she is cute! You can tell with one glance at the pictures that she gets along well with children who are taught how to interact with small dogs, and she is also fine with other dogs. Winnie was given up for rescue when she was thought to be pregnant. As it turns out, it was a false pregnancy so, as is often the case when dogs are given up before even getting a veterinary exam, Winnie was dumped for no reason! Winnie is confused about why she has had to go so many places lately, but she is a sweet girl and adapts nicely as long as she is greeted with loving kindness. Unfortunately, Winnie tested positive for a light case of heartworms. She will need treatment and recovery time, but because her case is so light there should be no problems and we expect a full recovery. Winnie really needs a stable, loving home. After all, Winnie is Wonderful!
