We rescued Franie from the Arlington shelter where she was taken as a stray and never claimed.  She's a young girl, full of playful energy and she's very friendly!  Her left eye never full developed and after several months in foster care & under the watchful care of our vet, the decision was made to remove the eye.  She had no vision in it and she had chronic “dry eye” which required daily eye drops to keep it lubricated, and she was prone to infections in the eye, which required antibiotic eye drops.  Franie has fully recovered from her surgery and doing great in her foster home!  She’s much happier now, not having to endure the discomfort the eye was causing and all the follow up medical care it required.  Now she can focus 100% of all her boundless energy to playing and keeping her foster sister Ariel on her toes!  The two of them have become best friends and they have a blast running & playing all day.  In fact, if you’re interested in adopting a pair, Franie & Ariel would make a great duo and we’d be happy to talk about a special adoption fee for the two of them.
