Description:
Chipper was born with quite a few irregularities as a result of being a "lethal white" genetic combination. He has grand mal seizures that are controlled by daliy medications, a natural liver weakness at detoxification requiring oral supplements and regular blood work to check function level, as wewll as being totally deaf. Despite all that, Chipper is generally very happy. Chipper is high-maintenance, and Chipper is available for sponsorship. He has frequent autoimmune reactions and sometimes goes into anaphylactic shock so his foster family has to have medication on hand to get it under control while taking him for an emergency visit. Chipper also has breakthrough seizures and they can require emergency additional medication if they continue too long. That said, there is somehing about him that is very lovable and his foster family finds him well worth the effort. He is generally happy and at times is just plain playful and funny, and at other times he is loud (even though he can't hear it) and demanding! Chipper is an unusual little mix who we are glad to sponsor.
