Sheldon- a bundle of cuteness...
Sheldon came to us with almost no hair. He has some interesting genetic variations- his mouth has far fewer teeth than the average baby Dachshund, and his hair follicles don't seem to all be working. Also, his skin is thicker and more protective, much like that of a Chinese Crested. We have sent out tissue samples, as well as doing other labwork and it appears there is nothing medically wrong and nothing to treat- this is just the way Sheldon is.  Meahwhile, aside from his minor baldness oddities, Sheldon is a good boy, very cute, and quite happy! Sheldon loves to play, gets along great with other dogs at his foster home, and has good manners. Now that we know he's in good shape it's time for Sheldon to find a great forever home.  He's cute and sweet and ready to go- share the love!
