Luke is one of a litter of pups who came to DLT with their mother at just three weeks old. He is a dilute red, meaning he has no dark pigment- his nose is pink, his nails are red, and his eyes are green. Needless to say he knows he's cute! Luke is confident but not careless and loves all the usual puppy things. The babies are large for their age so they'll probably be "tweenie" sized when full grown. All are healthy, happy, and very socialized. They are already learning house training, but like all babies, these pups will need someone who is home a lot to work with them. It would also be very helpful if there's a slightly older Dachshund in their adoptive home who can help them learn and keep them from being lonely. If someone is interested in adopting a pair we can discuss a special reduced rate. All the pups have had shots, are on heartworm preventative, are altered, have a microchip, and have been thoroughly checked out by our vet. They're long, low, loving, and young- if you have the time, patience, and experience these babies may be the right ones for you!
