DJ has been a sanctuary dog for many years. He was the sweetest little Chiweenie boy we've ever had the privilege to care for. He shared much love with us- he is loved and will be missed...❤️ April 20, 2024- In Memory of Maya & BJ:: Maya (the Dachshund on the left) was adopted from us by a loving family in 2019, and BJ, was her best friend. Sadly, both passed from unrelated medical issues within 6 hours of each other on April 20th. Our hearts go out to the family for this loss. May they run free together and know they are loved and missed... August 22, 2023- Larry Clyde came to us in early 2019. He was in his teens, and in bad shape; His back was scarred from an unknown previous injury, his teeth and mouth were in terrible condition, and he was so obese it was a problem for his heart.
June 23, 2023- Edgar came to us as a senior dog who was not always very outgoing but was a good boy. It turned out he didn't adapt well to young children so instead he found his perfect long-term home with his foster parent. "Egger' as they called him quickly bonded with his family and he absolutely loved every moment of his life with them. Sadly, cancer took its toll and Edgar had to cross the rainbow bridge. Run free, Edgar, you are loved and missed... March 29, 2023 - Ike came to us as a senior Dachshund who needed major dental work, and unfortunately also had developed neurological seizures. He was the sweetest little dog, and his foster made Ike was happy, loved, and comfortable. Sadly, Ike had to cross the bridge far to soon. We are grateful to his foster for making sure Ike knew how much he was loved. Run free, Ike, you are missed... ❤️ Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
