February 6, 2023 - Red Duke came to us about seven years ago. He had a very difficult case of bladder stones and managed to recover from surgery, but was always prone to UTI problems and needed special food and care. Red Duke had also been diagnosed with cancer recently, and unfortunately it was very aggressive and despite surgery he crossed the rainbow bridge. Run free, Red, you are loved and missed.❤️ This handsome guy named Rocket was rescued by Dachshund Lovers of Texas and adopted by Lisa Marshall. Under her care he became the gentleman extraordinaire and a very loving sidekick. We miss you, Rocket!!! August 15, 2021: Sweet little Romeo crossed the bridge recently, having spent many years as a Dachshund Lovers of Texas sanctuary dog. Romeo was appreciative and kind, and we are grateful to have known and loved him. Run free, Romeo, and enjoy the peace and comfort you so deserve after a life well-lived... ❤️ August 5, 2013 - Roody, lovingly known as Roody-Toots by his adopters, was a senior when he was adopted from DLT by Terry and Rick. Roody hadn't always had an easy life, but that changed rapidly in his new home. Roody's family made sure he was healthy and happy, with a relaxed and caring household, and most of all, the love of wonderful people. We are so glad that Roody was able to be a part of their family. Thank you Terry and Rick for sharing your lives and love with Roody-Toots. Run free, Roody, you are loved and missed. Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
